How we provide the refund
Real estate agents are always looking for new properties to put on the market, they need to find new properties to sell all the time to stay in business.
In fact real estate agents are so keen to find properties to sell they will pay what is known within the real estate industry as a referral fee to us for finding them details of a new customers who want to sell.
The agents pay us 20% of their selling commission as a sort of finders fee.
If you proceed to sell with this agent, on settlement we receive that referral fee, we then give back to you 50% of what we have received, this is your refund.
So the refund is your share of the referral fee we get for passing on you as a seller lead to the agent, if you work it out it is equal to 10% of the total selling commission, that is a good saving.

The amount of the refund will vary and depend on the amount of the individual selling fee. ( In many suburban areas of Australia using this system a saving of over $2,000.00 is common )
When your property is sold we ask you to rate your real estate agent on their level of performance and customer care in selling your property. The agents are rated using our 1 to 5 star rating system on their customer service level.
We are building up an accurate guide for all future consumers on which real estate agents provide the best customer service in each area around Australia. Our web site will then display these ratings and comments from consumers as they become available.
